The waffle knit is the same air-trapping grid that kept dockworkers warm, now cut in deep indigo — a color that came off boats and work shirts before it ever reached a runway. A ribbed polo collar and full button placket keep the front clean; ribbed cuffs and hem close it off. Wear it over a tee with khaki, or open over a printed shirt when the evening needs one more layer.
