The blend does the heavy lifting here. Linen brings the cool, dry hand and a slightly slubby texture you can see; Lyocell smooths it out, adding drape and softness that linen on its own can't hold. Knit into a clean black cardigan, then finished with a white-tipped collar — one line of contrast, no other decoration, because black and white doesn't need help.

Fabric and Care

Fabric:
Knitted from a premium nylon blend, this sweater holds its shape like it takes the job personally — soft and lofty against the skin, crisp on the outside, and none of the sagging that wool learns with age. Wrinkle-resistant, quick to dry, and happy in a suitcase.

Care:
Machine wash inside out at 30°C with similar colours. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Lay flat to dry. Cool iron if needed.

Comfort That Holds Its Shape

The fabric took longer than the design. Linen on its own is cool but it creases before you've sat down. Lyocell on its own drapes beautifully and has no backbone at all. Blended, they argue each other into something better — this is the yarn we keep coming back to now, and it's a low-impact one: Lyocell made in a closed-loop process, linen from flax. Cool enough for a warm room, sharp enough for the restaurant across the street. If you own one cardigan after six, this should be it.
