One pattern, drawn like it was stitched by hand.

A field of white diamond lines over indigo slub twill — the lattice of old Japanese workwear, kept deliberately imperfect. The lines waver a little, the way chalk marks and hand-stitched sashiko do, so the grid feels drawn onto the cloth rather than printed on it.
The fabric is an 86% cotton / 14% polyester blend, and we chose it on purpose: the cotton gives it breathability and that soft, washed-denim hand; the polyester keeps it from creasing into a mess and holds the shape wash after wash. Woven with a slubby texture, it looks like an old work jacket and behaves like something you can throw in a bag.
Cut to wear open as a light layer or cinched with front and back ties. Inside, the same diamond grid returns on a grey ground — the lattice's shadow, visible when you fold a cuff or tie the belt.
